Controlled Demolition

Demolition is a procedure wherein a structure is tear down, smash, or broken down, using equipment and tools appropriate to the extent of the works to be done. One method, to which our Company specializes, is the controlled demolition method using diamond tools to cut reinforced concrete. This method is generally applied to structures where portions of it are to remain and at the same time maintaining the soundness of the adjacent structure. This method of saw cutting the reinforced concrete structures eliminates the use of heavy and noisy equipment. Thus, eliminating vibration that may affect or damage the existing structure to remain, and at the same time controlling the propagation of cracks to the adjacent structure.

Structural Retrofitting

Carbon Fiber & Steel Jacketing. It is the modification of existing structures to resist additional dynamic and seismic forces. The strengthening may be limited to connections between building elements or it may involve adding primary resisting structural elements such as columns, beams, or concrete walls. It is primarily applied to achieve public safety and material survivability determined by economic considerations. Re-strengthening of an old structure or demolishing a portion of an old structure to give way for re-construction or adding an extension is part of the services we render that we call retrofitting works.

Epoxy Injection / Grouting

A method of repairing cracks in concrete structures. Epoxy Injection Resin is a system for welding cracks back together. This welding restores the original strength and loading originally designed into the concrete. Epoxy injection restores the structural qualities of the concrete design intended. In other words, under most conditions, it makes the concrete as good as new. It creates an impervious seal to air, water, chemicals, debris, and other contamination.

Epoxy Floor Coating

Are applied over concrete floors to provide a high-performance, smooth, and durable surface that can last many years and withstand heavy loads.

Waterproofing

Waterproof or water-resistant describes objects that are unaffected by water or resisting water passage, or which are covered with a material that resists or does not allow water passage. Such items may be used in wet environments or underwater. In construction, a building or structure is waterproofed with the use of membranes to protect contents underneath or within as well as protecting structural integrity. The waterproofing of the building envelope in construction specifications is under ’07 .  Thermal and Moisture’ protection and includes roofing material as well as waterproofing materials.

Cementitious Grouting

Grout is a construction material used to embed rebar in masonry walls, connect  sections of pre-cast concrete, fill voids,  seal joints (like those between tiles).

Grout is generally composed of a mixture of water, cement, sand, and sometimes fine gravel (if it is being used to fill the cores of cement blocks). Sometimes color tint is applied as a thick liquid and hardens over time, much like mortar.
